About

An amazing treat that can realistically fit into a ketogenic diet.
To make two roasted nut chocolate biscuits.
Roast a Tea Spoon of Fennel seeds, a Table spoon of Pumpkin Seeds and a desert spoon of Hazelnuts on a baking tray for 5 minutes at 200degrees in a fan oven.
Then add 10g of 90% dark chocolate to each cup cake and with a walnut and two pecans each to melt.
Once melted add the roasted nuts and seed and add a sprinkle of almond flakes (~5 in each).
Mix the nuts and chocolate to help bind together and then leave in the oven a few more minutes.
Move from the oven and either leave to cool for an hour or so or put in the freezer for quick results.
Once cooled you have a wonderfully rich and healthy treat that will stop you looking at anyone’s desert with envy.

Each roasted nut chocolate biscuit contains approximately:

  • Calories 129 kcal

“Love the variety of seasoning methods! A great tip from Food & Wine—roast nuts low and slow at 300°F, stirring occasionally to avoid bitterness and maintain healthy fats foodandwine.com+1nuthealth.org+1. Looking forward to trying the sweet‑dusted version with cocoa and mint!”

  • Nutrition Insight

“Great combo of flavor and nutrition! According to Health.com, roasted nuts can enhance antioxidant levels, especially in macadamias and almonds—while controlling your salt and sugar additions helps retain their health benefits nuthealth.org.”

  • Serving & Storage Suggestion

“I love how versatile these are—perfect for topping salads, oatmeal, or simply snacking! As Better Homes & Gardens notes, larger nuts like walnuts and pecans take longer to roast, so popping smaller ones in later ensures even cooking
